P25 trunking features for 3900 Series
Aeroflex 3900 Series radio test sets now come with an option to support P25 trunking in the VHF/UHF/700 MHz and 800 MHz bands. The 3900 Series is designed to support basic P25 testing as well as complex analysis of advanced P25 systems. Read more.

3280 Series spectrum analyzers now with digital demodulation
Ideal for wireless design, research and development and production test engineers, the Aeroflex 3280 Series spectrum analyzers now offer digital demodulation for the analysis of 802.11a, b and g wireless networks. Digital demodulation in the 3280 Series will allow engineers to analyze the transmitter characteristics of a wireless device.

Phase noise testing on phased array antenna modules
As phased array antenna techniques spread through defense, space and even commercial applications, engineers need higher performance and more practical tools to face tomorrow's challenges. Aeroflex announces comprehensive WiMAX test strategy at CTIA
Already delivering test solutions targeting both the R&D requirements of early physical layer test and protocol development test, Aeroflex is announcing a comprehensive product strategy in support of WiMAX, the IEEE 802.16e standard that has been developed to enable the delivery of last mile wireless broadband access as an alternative to wired broadband like cable and DSL. Mobile WiMAX test solution unveiled
Aeroflex's comprehensive mobile WiMAX test strategy includes R&D, protocol development, pre-certification conformance, and manufacturing test. The WiMAX test product platform includes the MINT T2230 protocol conformance tester, a base station emulator for testing mobile stations, and the MINT T2231 mobile station emulator for testing mobile WiMAX base stations.

Aeroflex's 5800 Series ATE system now features JTAG/boundary scan capabilities in the form of a PXI-based platform from GOEPEL electronic. The boundary scan option allows customers improved test coverage, reduced cost and time-to-market.

Restronics becomes U.S. ATE sales partner
Aeroflex has signed Restronics as a manufacturer's representative for its Automated Test Equipment (ATE) product line in the United States. Restronics will support Aeroflex's existing direct sales team with a more ATE-focused indirect channel to provide complete selling coverage for the U.S.

A-GPS conformance test systems now with OMA
Aeroflex's 6103 and 6401 A-GPS conformance test systems for location-based services now supports Open Mobile Alliance Secure User Plane (OMA SUPL) 1.0. OMA SUPL 1.0 allows application developers to implement location services over the easier, more efficient IP link, vs. the modem layer of a cellular radio network.

New features for 3410 RF signal generators
The new firmware, issue 4.10, for the 3410 Series digital RF signal generators now features internal IQ with external burst, allowing an internally playing arbitrary waveform file to be independently burst by an externally applied TTL signal.
