The PSD757-1, PSD767-1 and PSD767-2 Interface Units are used with B757 and B767 aircraft that are equipped with Honeywell fuel systems. The interface unit is installed in place of the fuel quantity system processor and connected to a PSD60-2R AC Fuel System Tester. When connected to the fuel quantity system wiring & probes at this point, measurement of individual probe capacitance to confirm processor BITE, measurement of probe & wiring insulation resistance for troubleshooting, and troubleshooting the aircraft when processor power cannot be applied due to other maintenance activities or open fuel tanks is permitted.

The PSD757/767-1 Interface Unit is used with B757 and B767 aircraft that are equipped with Simmonds Precision fuel systems. The interface unit may be installed in place of the fuel quantity system processor and is then connected to a PSD60-2R AC Fuel System Tester. When connected to the fuel quantity system wiring & probes at this point, measurement of individual probe capacitance to confirm processor BITE, measurement of probe & wiring insulation resistance for troubleshooting, and troubleshooting the aircraft when processor power cannot be applied due to other maintenance activities or open fuel tanks, and measurement of Densitometer output frequency and calibration resistors may be accomplished. The PSD757/767-1 Interface Unit may also be connected at the wing-spar. Using the interface cables included, isolation of tank components from processor-to-wingspar wiring may also be accomplished.
